Naukati Waterfront
Magical
Ocean Views!
$399,000 - 177' Waterfront, Cedar Home, Cabin, shop.
Make this house your home
and you may never want to go on vacation again! Or make it your vacation
home and you may never leave...
This home has what everyone dreams about when they come to
Alaska. A charming cedar home with a loft and big windows... A
cute-as-a-button cedar cabin for guests... A huge shop for car and boat...
A fish cleaning and canning station to dream about... And last but
definitely not least, a hot tub on the front deck, from which you can unwind
after a fabulous day of fishing, with some of the best ocean views in the
world to dream over...
And yes, there is more. The home is privately located
in the center of its 1.46 acre lot. With 177.4 ft waterfront and old
growth forest, you have lots of privacy. The lot is south facing -
lots of sun - and perfect for the garden beds in front of the cabin.
There is road access and power, it is easy, just come and stay!
The home:
The home measures 36.5' x 28.5' on the ground, with a large
loft with views upstairs. There is one bedroom on the ground level,
and the loft could be a stunning master bedroom or a dreamy study (any
writers out there who need some inspiration?...). The home is well
designed with a feel-good floor plan, a cozy living room (yes, with ocean
views, did you see all those fabulous windows?) and a charming kitchen with
great views also.
Even
the bathroom is dead cute, with a luxurious claw foot bathtub. Birch
cabinets and wood trim give the home a delightful cabin-in-the-woods feel,
but quality abounds with top quality appliances and finishes. The home
is practical as well as pleasurable, with an entry room for coats, boots and
storage!
Outside, large decks and covered walkways make entertaining
a pleasure. And if you don't fish, the hot tub should provide for
plenty of relaxation...
The
Cabin:
Built in 2003, the 16' x 20' guest cabin sleeps 4.
Finished in cedar, it is as cute as they come, with a small bathroom and
kitchenette. Guests are even more fun when you all have a little space...
The
Shop:
The circular driveway makes parking boats a cinch (and it is
attractive red rock too). Completed in 2005, the shop measures 28 x
28'. It is fully wired, has concrete floors and has extensive storage
cabinets. The main bay is large enough to store a 22' boat and trailer
inside with the garage door closed. No need to worry about storage when the
summer is done! And if that were not enough, there is additional
secure storage under the front deck.
Extras:
Ever wonder what to do with that catch? Well this fish
processing room is spacious and well set up to make cleaning and canning a
cinch. Measuring 8' x 20', it has dual counters, a commercial sink and
space for refrigerators, freezers and storage. And if by chance
fishing is not your thing, it could become a great little hot house, that
southern exposure really helps green things grow. For those with a
green thumb, there are already several raised beds set up and a nice lawn
upon which you can sunbathe... There is a pond at the front of the property
which may have a spring (when I looked into it, I saw water bubbling from
below...)
Utility Information:
Water source: Rain! Which is plentiful and free! Captured
off the metal roof, rain is routed through a containment system and stored
in a 5000 gal. commercial storage tank. An electric pump sends the water
through a certified filtration system before home usage. The designed septic
system is also certified. Heating: Toyo radiant oil stove which is quite
cost efficient. There is also a wood stove for back up heating. Telephone
and Direct TV service are installed. The local electric company provides
regular service. Internet is available locally or via satellite dish.

The living room! Big windows on left, kitchen on
right, loft above!

Look out onto your own front deck overlooking the ocean.

The master bedroom or loft. Take away the quilts and
you can see the view even better!

the bathroom with old-style luxury tub!

The cabin sits to the right of the house.

This delightful cabin has that wonderful fresh cedar smell
- perfect for vacations!

The kitchenette is open and looks out onto the water.

beds to sleep 4.

The shop and fish processing room.

This as-built shows the dimensions of the house, and is
dated 2000. The shop and cabin are so new that they are not on this
map.

Could you handle a sunset like that? Perhaps from
your own hot tub?...
The views are stunning and
always changing. The view transforms dramatically with the tides. Watch the rise and fall of the tides on your very own
beach, enjoy the sunny days and watch the storms roll in over the
mountains...
