The property:
This private Wadleigh Island property faces the evening sunset. The land consists of three adjoining lots in Block A (with 366 feet of waterfront. Sandwiched between lot 11 and lot 12 is a wooded peninsula common area with over 300 ft of waterfront. This common area adds lots of space, useable by the lots on either side. Slightly north of the peninsula is a protected private lagoon perfect for the novice swimmer or kayaker. Just south of the peninsula is a nice sandy beach bordered by round rock for sunning or building sand castles. All lots grow towering spruce and hemlock with a spring-fed stream running through the glade.
The dock:
To the south of the peninsula is the new, permitted 185 foot dock with water deep enough to moor a large sailboat or motor yacht at all tides. An arch is provided for pulling the ramp up for winter storage. It could also be used to hoist that big fish.
The cabin:
Built of cedar in 1998, the cabin has an open floor plan with a small bedroom downstairs, a sleeping loft half way up the stairway, and a larger bedroom with a walk in closet on the second floor. Ideal for vacationers, six people could sleep comfortably and still leave room for living. The hot tub is the snorkel type (heated with wood). Water is obtained from the pond or from the stream on the south side of the cabin or could be piped in from the spring that feeds the stream. The seller has wired the cabin for 110 and all that is needed is one of the new quiet generators to supply the juice.
